Deconstructing Sophon: More Bad Journalism from The Nation

SIDELINES

Where have all of Suvarnabhumi's 'consultants' gone?

Now that we are likely to move all airlines and related services back to Don Muang airport while repair work is carried out at Suvarnabhumi, which has become a gigantic structural testimony to massive corruption, investigations must continue to determine which heads should roll.

We have blamed politicians, civil servants and contractors, who form an axis of corruption and misdeeds in the multibillion-baht airport project, but have yet to question the role of highly paid "consultants" and the scope of their responsibility.

Gotta Love The Nation. What kind of crappy journalist asks a question that should have been answered by his paper a long time ago?

When will The Nation have the courage and integrity to investigate the corruption at the airport? Or will they continue to wait for the military junta to tell them what to print?

The Nation is a disgrace.

Just what I was thinking. Of course, Sophon is probably hoping the consultants will be foreigners so they can be blamed and not the ridiculous, corrupt, incompetent and crooked Thais.

I have no doubt in my mind that he is angling to blame the foreign consultants, so he can give the Thais a pass. That is modus operandi of the Thai mind. Lie, cheat and steal, then blame the farang.
