Suthep's Hypocrisy

Inciting crowds will backfire, Suthep warns Thaksin

Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban has voiced concern about a large protest to be held tomorrow by the red shirt

The anti-government group plans to gather at Sanam Luang and ahead of a march to Government House, where they will stage a mass rally.

"As I am in charge of security, I am frustrated about the prevailing situation and sympathise with people, particularly the vendors, who face worsening difficulties on top of their hardship to eke out a living," he said.

Suthep said he suspected the red shirts would try and stir up trouble during the mass rally although he was confident the authorities could keep the situation under control.

He reminded ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra that the more he tried to incite the crowds, the more his efforts would backfire and add to his own predicament.

Does the Democrat Party have any shame left?

The PAD is still free. The Democrat Party agitated and conspired to overthrow the Thaksin government. The Democrats have a lot of audacity to criticize the Reds since it was they who perfected this type of street politics with the PAD. The Democrats didn't give two shites when the PAD shut down the airports and the Government House, and profited mightily from those crimes. They didn't care about the vendors or the economy when it was another government in power.

Karma is a bitch.

As George Orwell said in Animal Farm, "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than other animals." That should be the Democrat Party's motto.
