In an interview with FRANCE 24, Thaksin Shinawatra called on Thailand's monarch to intervene in the current political crisis. An international arrest warrant has been issued for the former Thai prime minister, who lives in exile.
Here is the video interview.
It seems a little dated. Sia Yoon likes to spin that Thaksin did badly in this BBC interview, but he actually performed better here. This is the most articulate I have heard him out of all the interviews. I don't know if Thaksin should be asking the king for any favors after dissing his Praetorian Guard. It is like Brutus asking Octavian to intervene and make peace with Marc Anthony after he murdered Caesar. Well, we all know what happened there.
